Viewing Your Library Record

 

Click on the link provided below (Your Library Record) or from the Catalog, click on the "LOGIN" link in the upper right hand corner of the screen.  This will open up another browser window.  Enter your library card barcode number, and PIN. If this is your first time, leave the PIN blank. You will be asked to create it on the next screen (the PIN can contain numbers, lowercase letters, or a combination of both, and cannot exceed 40 characters).  If you get a "Not valid PIN" response, please check with the staff at the Front Desk next time you are in the library or contact the library at 978-456-4114 and ask to speak with the reference librarian regarding setting up a pin. 

Once you are viewing your record, the screen will show information on items checked out, fines and bills and information on requests / holds. (Note: information on holds will not appear in your record if you do not have any items requested / on hold in the C/WMARS network.  In addition, any holds or requests you have placed that have been requested from libraries outside of the C/W MARS network will not appear on your record as well.  If you should have any questions regarding these items please call the library at 978- 456-4114.).  

To RENEW items:

1.  Click on "Items currently checked out"
2.  Check the box to the left of the item(s) you want to renew
3.  Click on "Renew Selected Items"
4.  If renewing all items, click on "Renew All"
5.  A new due date will appear in the status field
6.  Reasons why the system won't renew: item is requested by someone else, item is too long overdue, etc. The item must be returned.  

Note: Items cannot be renewed online if they are overdue or it is the item’s due date.  To renew these items, please call the library at 978-456-4114 and we will renew the items for you over the phone.


You also have several options on the right side of the screen:

a.         Modify your PIN
b.         Update e-mail information
c.         Preferred Searches
d.         My Reading History
e.         My Ratings

 Modify your PIN 

1.  Click on Modify your PIN
2.  Enter your current PIN
3.
  Enter your new PIN
4.  Enter your new PIN again
5.  Click Submit    

 Update e-mail information

1.  Click on Modify Personal Information
2.  Enter your new email address in
3.  Click Submit

 

 Preferred Searches  [If you have a favorite author or subject for which you often search when using the catalog, you can save the search with the click of a button. This will prevent you from having to key in the search each time and let you place reserves on new materials quicker.]

1.  Click on Preferred Searches
2.  Follow the instructions for HELP with Preferred Searches    

 My Reading History

1.  Click on My Reading History
2.  Follow the instructions on the screen.    

 My Ratings 

1.  Click on My Ratings
2.  Follow the instructions on the screen.

When you are finished viewing your record, it's important to close the window to end access to your record. You'll return to this page.
