Last month a group of Boston based mathematicians ran the first in a series of national conferences on the subject of gerrymandering and redistricting at Tufts University. The League of Women Voters of Harvard is excited to invite you to learn more about their work on Tuesday, September 26th at 7pm in Volunteer’s Hall.

The group is known as the Metric Geometry and Gerrymandering Group. Founding member Mira Bernstien, PhD will be presenting GERRYMANDERING: It’s More Complicated Than Most People Think. Bernstein is a data scientist and research faculty member at Tufts University Interdisciplinary program of Science, Technology and Society.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
