Buttermilk and Chalk

This week in Art & Stories, the four and five year olds painted paper with buttermilk, and then used wire mesh and colanders to grate pieces of chalk over the buttermilk paintings.
The powdered chalk stuck to and then absorbed the buttermilk on the paper - and we can't wait to see what our art will look like when it is dry! Process art is the best!
