Virtual Craft: Cardboard Dragon & Butterfly and Tissue Paper Flowers
Recommended for Ages 6+
Thursday, April 15 at 3:30 PM

Learn how to make a cardboard fire-breathing dragon using a toilet paper tube and tissue paper!  Then learn how to make a cardboard butterfly using a toilet paper tube and pipe cleaners, and tissue paper flowers with pipe cleaner stems.

Three awesome teen volunteers will teach attendees how to make these cool projects in this virtual craft event presented via Zoom.  (This program will be monitored and moderated by a library staff member.)

You can either use your own materials  or you can request that a supply kit be put out for you for curbside pickup (supply kits will contain toilet paper tubes, construction paper, tissue paper, googly eyes, mini pom-poms, and pipe cleaners).  Please note that supply kits will not include white glue or glue sticks, which are both necessary to complete the projects.

To keep the group size manageable, registration is limited to twelve children who are Harvard residents/HES students.  Send an email to childrensroom@harvardpubliclibrary.org if you'd like to sign up for the Zoom link.
