Model Drop-Off Begins Today at 11:30

March 8, 2017
Lego Expo Model Drop-Off begins today at 11:30
Lego Expo Models should be dropped off in the Children’s Room from 11:30 AM on Wednesday, March 8 through 2:00 PM on Friday, March 10. Models are dropped off prior to the event so that all models can be on display when the Expo opens at 11:00 AM on March 11. (We can accommodate some drop-ins on March 11, but we would prefer that models be dropped off during the three-day drop-off period.)
Construct your Lego model at home, and bring the assembled model to the library for display at the Expo. Build your model on your own, or work together with some friends!
We want to see how creative you are, so build a Lego model from your own imagination. In other words, create your own cool design – don’t build a Lego model exactly as it appears in the picture on the box. The more creative, the better!!!
The model footprint can be no more than 2 feet square, and must be sturdy enough to be easily transportable. (If you put your model in a bin or box to make it easier to carry, be sure to label the bin or box with your name.)
Models will be on display to the public for a three hour period on Saturday, March 11, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. There will be a Guest Book for each model so that attendees can leave written feedback for the model creators. Model creators are NOT required to be in attendance for all three hours; but model creators are encouraged to visit the Expo to look at the models that other kids have built. You also might want to spend some time by your own model in case anyone has questions for you.
Models MUST BE PICKED UP by 4:00 PM on March 11.
Please pre-register in the Children’s Room, so that we can make your personalized Lego Expo Guest Book.
