The Votes Are In!!!
January 22, 2019
Thanks to everyone who voted in the Edible Books Contest, and especially huge thanks to all of the participants who created literary art with food!
We have just finished counting the votes, and amazingly we have TWO TIES for first place!
In the Children’s Category, the two winners are Natalie G. for “Not-so-Perfect Penguin” and Neo V. for “Freight Train.” Natalie and Neo each received 22 votes.
In the Teen Category, Ioni and Robyn won with 45 votes for their entry, “The Heroes of Olympus.”
In the Adult Category, the two winners are Naveena A. for “Mary Poppins” and Abby K. for “The Snowy Day.” Naveena and Abby each received 35 votes.
And here are the voting results for the rest of the awesome entries:
Children’s Category:
Thalia R. received 13 votes for her entry “Press Here”
Callia S. and Chloe B. received 20 votes for their entry “The Apple Pie Tree”
Arya received 13 votes for her entry “Look Whoooo’s Counting”
Julian and Sophia received 4 votes for their entry “Stone Soup”
Adult Category:
Faith received 4 votes for her entry “Everything About Citrus”
(note that our esteemed voters did not necessarily fill in votes for each category – some ballots only had votes for the Children’s category, and some only had votes for the Teen category)
Great job, everyone!!!! We look forward to seeing some awesome entries for the next Edible Books Contest which will take place the first week in April – stay tuned for details!
