Children's Room Programs

This 30 to 45 minute program, appropriate for children ages 4 to 7, includes phonemic awareness activities and a few longer picturebook stories.  Our phonemic awareness activities will focus on learning and practicing some consonant sounds, reviewing the short vowel sounds, and learning to put sounds together to make simple words.

 

Registration is required: Limit of 12 (minimum of 6) children.

 

The summer storytime session is four weeks, and registration is required for the session. Registration closes on July 8 for the summer session. Registering for this storytime will register you for the entire summer session (yes, it is ok to miss a storytime - we totally understand that people take vacations in the summer!). Stories for 4’s &  5’s will be outdoors under the new pavilion this summer! We will be outdoors unless there are predicted thunderstorms or the temperature is over 90 degrees. In case of thunderstorms or high heat, we will meet indoors in the Story Room.

 

Registration closes on Monday, July 8 or when the storytime is full, whichever comes first.
