Virtual Whalemobile - Grades 2 through 5
This is a virtual Whalemobile experience! Cynde McInnis will do an initial presentation about whales, and then attendees will watch the inflation of a lifesize model of a humpback whale. Cynde will go inside the whale and share the whale experience virtually with attendees. Topics covered are baleen and teeth, communication, individual identification, and the importance of whales. The program finishes with a discussion of marine debris and what we can do to help protect the oceans. Cynde has been teaching audiences of all ages about whales for over 26 years. She loves to share her passion and get children excited to learn about whales and our oceans! Per Cynde’s request, enrollment is limited to 20 children in Grades 2 through 5 for this live virtual program (the number and age of participants is limited so that the program can be interactive!).
Registration is required; the Zoom link will be emailed to registrants the day prior to the program. Nonresidents may register for this program one week in advance of the event, provided that there is space available.
Send an email to email@example.com to register; please tell us what grade your child(ren) are in.
