Ice Cream Social Update!

We have studied the weather forecasts - we even emailed & got very helpful replies from meteorologists Cindy Fitzgibbons, Michael Page, and Terry Eliasen (huge thanks to all three for their advice!!!) and the verdict is that tomorrow's weather pattern is tough to call: it might be clear all afternoon, and we might get rained on with a few spot showers.
So, we have decided to GO FOR IT and hold the Ice Cream Social tomorrow, Thursday, June 20, at 3:00 PM on the library lawn. Please bring a rain jacket in case a spot shower comes our way!!! And a gentle reminder - no ice cream in the library...
[Note that we reserve the right to change our minds tomorrow morning if the weather forecast changes drastically by tomorrow. If that is the case, then we will post an update on this page. If no update is posted, then there is no change!]
We are trying to go Low Waste this year: Ice Cream Social attendees are encouraged to bring their own non-disposable bowls, cups, & spoons. (As in the past, the library will also still provide disposable bowls, cups & spoons - but we would love to reduce waste if possible!)
We will have a rinsing station for your ice cream dishes, but you also might want to bring a waterproof bag to transport your dishes home.
