Make it!

During the summer, the Teen Room will be transformed into a mini-makerspace every Thursday from 10am - 5pm.

This means that materials for 2 or 3 maker projects will be available in the teen room! Challenge cards with maker ideas will be provided, but feel free to make your own creations!

Drop in and make something new this summer!!

Book Reviews

Start your summer reading after you get out of school on June 14th. You can read and review any book from anywhere-it doesn’t have to be something that you’ve checked out of the library. You may include your required summer reading, or listening to an audiobook!

To enter a book review, log in to the Teen Summer Reading program and click the Reviews icon. Then, select Write a Book Review or Post a Picture Review. Write a thoughtful, substantive review: tell us about the book, what you liked, and what you didn’t like, questions you had, etc. For picture reviews, upload an image that relates to the book. Don’t forget to caption the picture so we know why you chose that image. Book reviews and picture reviews will be posted (anonymously) in the Teen Room as suggestions for other teens.
